Intro
The elusive “It Girl.” You know the type of girl I’m talking about. Rihanna. Lily-Rose Depp. Gigi Hadid. Issa Rae. Blake Lively. Ariana Grande. They seem to have everything, they are beautiful, and they have an effortless type of cool about them. On top of all that, they have an almost indescribable quality, a je ne said quoi, if you will. Of course, these women are celebrities and some are nepotism babies, but I’m sure you can think of real-life women in your daily life who seem to have it all, Sometimes you can’t help but wonder why you’re not them. You might not be them yet, but I promise that you too, can have it all.
Breaking down the It Girl
If you’re thinking that a magical element that coalesces in specific women sounds too good to be true, you would be correct. These women may make it look like they put no effort into their lives and things just fall into place for them, but that’s simply not accurate as we all know it deep down. It actually takes a lot of specific traits working together behind the scenes to create the It Girl persona that the public sees.
To be an It Girl, people have to know you, like you, and trust you, you have your finances in order, and above all, know how to be attractive and have fun! There are a few other traits that I would throw in as well, but to keep things from getting too convoluted, I’m going to cut myself off there.
You might be thinking that this sounds like a lot of work. Why would anyone bother to make the effort to be an It Girl? Well, it might seem like a lot of work at first, but I promise you that it’s learnable and certainly worth it because It Girls are living their lives to the fullest, which is what everyone should be trying to do anyway,
But why should you listen to me?
I know all this because I am the elusive it girl. I am her and she is me, You might think that I’m giving myself too much credit, that I’m exaggerating. I’m not. There is always room for self-improvement and polishing, but I’m on solid ground. I love my life and let’s just say, I also love my bank balance. If I haven’t convinced you that I’m an It Girl by this point, there’s probably nothing I can do, so you. can stop reading here.
However, if you keep reading my blog, I promise I can and will inculcate you with the tools you need to become a real-life It Girl. Through my blog posts, I will teach you all the traits and skills you need that I mentioned above, and—fear not, I’ll even teach you the ones that I didn’t take the time to write!
If you’re ready to be liked and envied by hordes of other women, then this is the blog for you.
XOXO,
Lexi Nadine
